We will review the presentation focusing on the Miwoks that Anni Jensen has prepared, and go over the bulletin for Sunday. And, of course, greet each other!

We continue drawing together what the Thursday group has read and discovered about Marin’s native people, to see which parts we would like to share for a Fifth Sunday conversation. This week, Anni Jensen will share what she has found about the history of the land where our church is built.

We continue drawing together what the Thursday group has read and discovered about Marin’s native people, to see which parts we would like to share for a Fifth Sunday conversation. Anni Jensen has put together a document including at least most of the resources we have been reading and watching: Land Studies: the Coast Miwok and their Land. No need to read everything if you want to come!
We continue our exploration of California’s indigenous people, reading the book “Chief Marin: Leader, Rebel and Legend” by Betty Goerke. Heyday Books, 2007. www.heydaybooks.com/catalog/chief-marin.
You can find a copy at the library! A suggestion: let’s each get familiar with the first five chapters, and choose one of the chapters to read closely.
